Julie Sturgeon is a journalist and public relations expert with more than 20 years of experience. She is Knowledgewebb.net's National Sales and Marketing Director.

Julie has managed public relations for Medi-Span and the Forum Group. She has also served as editorial director of Indianapolis C.E.O. and Columbus C.E.O and has written for more than 75 publications. She holds a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington and is based in Indianapolis.

Today, Julie has branched out into blogging, maintaining her own "Get Outta Here" observations at her Curing Cold Feet blog, and relating restaurant experiences at the blogs at Uptake.com. Her family also owns a travel agency, which benefits from her marketing and communication skills.

Yet every person is more than just the sum of her job — even those of us who are passionate about our careers.  When Julie is not researching and writing, you’ll likely find her on the road to wherever it leads. She enjoys cross-country trips by car, seeing how far she can wander in a three-day weekend, and international airports with equal passion. She fervently supports alma matar Indiana University basketball (missed seeing fewer than 10 games in 35 years), and always marks off the first four days of the NCAA tournament as vacation time.
