Sleeps In A Storm

I heard a story the other day that made me think of all the stellar volunteers I worked with at the Online News Association annual conference recently:

A farmer was desperate for help and had advertised for someone to help him take care of his farm.  He had one person express interest. During the interview, the applicant offered a business card that only had four words on it.  Those words were "Sleeps In A Storm."  The farmer was in such dire need of help, he went against his better judgement and hired the man.

One night there was a terrible storm and the farmer, remembering the words on the business card of his hired hand, awoke in a panic. He leapt from bed, ran in the pouring rain and howling wind from the house to the barn.  There, he found his tractor and other farm equipment lined up and put away, all of his animals fed and in their holding pens and his hay bound and neatly stacked.  He went to the small house where the hired hand lived and found him, you guessed it, sound asleep.  The farmer finally understood what the business card meant, smiled and went back to bed.

What would it take for you to be someone who sleeps in a storm?
