Welcome (welcome back, really) to the MyDigimedia blog. I started MyDigimedia back in 2005 as a forum to discuss tech trends and how they affect various industries. In the past five years, MyDigimedia tackled all kinds of topics, from an all-digital media diet I underwent to early Yahoo and Google acquisitions. I've criticized mainstream media organizations for making foolish business decisions and showcased lots of entrepreneurial success stories.

If you're one of the many thousands of readers who came to MyDigimedia for commentary and insight on tech trends, expect to see the same biting, honest commentary. For those of you new to my blog, I've put together a "best of" series of posts ranging from 2005 - 2010. During that time, I introduced Hulu and Midomi (now SoundHound), unveiled a massive chart of who own's what in digital media, and wrote a lot about what were then pending newspaper deals.
